After a busy and eventful year for The Network it was wonderful to gather and toast to the success of 2015 and to the future of this dynamic group, at our Christmas Champagne Breakfast!
On the 11th December Chere Bailey and her team at the Deluxe Diner set the perfect Christmas tone for the 50 plus local women who attended. With gorgeous Christmas tables settings, a stunning tree (perfect spot for the generously donated Food Bank items) and a glass of “Christmas Cheer” we were sure to have a “jolly old time”! It was great to see a range of ladies, new faces and a valued regulars, all enjoying each others company together with the delicious food.
The Network members were treated to a sweet Christmas gift of chocolate coated Honeycomb handmade by Arborio, while gorgeous honey pots from Bees-r-us were gifted to potential members with a wee note to encourage them to “Bee a part of our Hive”. Hollie Sarten of Flower Studio generously gave all the ladies a vibrant festive red carnation button hole to wear.
Our Queen Bee Sonya Cole thanked every one for their support of The Network, as she noted, we saw a huge evolution this year and we have been all blown away by the way this has been embraced. She also gave out the inaugural Bees Knees award which will be awarded each month to a member that has been nominated for success in their own business or contribution to the group. Marnie Johnston-Saywell joined Sonya to thank the ladies for their continued support of The Network and both were buzzing about what was was planned for the year ahead!
2016 is going to be a Hive of Activity for The Network – make sure you are there for the ride!!
