Can you believe it’s the first of March? WOW – amazing how a busy schedule plus many local events can just make the days fly.
The Network has been a buzz in February! There is a lot of info in this blog post, but as life calms down a bit for me, I hope to write much more regularly. Please let me know if there are any topics of interest!
We hosted a sold out lunch with many returning members and new faces. It was so great to hear from established businesses, new endeavors and even those new to the region who are looking for opportunities. Our lunches are not only ways for us to promote our businesses, but to really connect with like minded women and hear their life stories. It’s such a great opportunity to take a pause from our busy lives and get some inspiration.
The new booking and payment system has really simplified the entire process, well done Committee bees!
ELECTION OF COMMITTEE MEMBERS AND CHAIR
We held our first AGM and elected committee members and our new Chair, Marnie Johnston- Saywell. It was fabulous to see so many members who put their name forward to be a part of the committee, and we will use their talents to help with subcommittees. We have such a talented group of women on the Committee, chaired by Marnie and her enthusiasm, professionalism and creativity – it’s going to be an awesome year.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT HOUR
We had such a fun and productive night this month….we had amazing Bee2Bee offers from the the great team at BlackBird Boutique who helped everyone feel their best by added the finishing touches to make up and hair, Hosking House hosting with some nibbles and wine and then Sandra Henderson showcased her amazing talent by making everyone feel relaxed and taking gorgeous headshots.
It was such a fabulous combination – everyone relaxed, and all of the great talent turned what could have been a stressful thing (getting your photo taken,) into a chance for our members to really shine and let their personalities and beauty come through.
I was personally inspired seeing everyone come back from having their photo taken and all of their sincere smiles. It also made me laugh to see Rodney so outnumbered by women in the House. Loved it!
It’s tomorrow – can’t wait to see you all and hear how your February went!
