Professional Coach Confident at The Talk Shop.    The tough stuff in life can be the doorway to our most powerful growth - that’s what I help unlock.

Kia ora, I’m Karen – Professional Coach Confident at The Talk Shop.   I consider myself fairly new to Taranaki having moved here on the wings of love.  It’s a pleasure to be meeting you women in The Network and thank you for inviting me to belong.

25 years’ experience as a strategic advisor and extreme facilitator in government and corporate settings has enabled me to support a wide range of leaders get some big stuff sorted for New Zealand.   I have been very involved in economic, education, justice, Treaty and science sectors over time.  Most of my working life has been helping get better outcomes for New Zealand but I have also had the privilege of supporting businesses, communities and education systems in 14 other countries.

Closer to home I’ve coached teams and their leaders in every corner of the country – from marae kitchens, school board meetings, timber yards, farming businesses, universities, government agencies, science organisations, local councils to community project groups.  Helping people be their best and get the job done in style.

In the post-Covid environment  I am prioritising providing expert 1:1 professional and/or personal support to leaders, business owners and their key staff - helping people move forward and feel better, one breakthrough conversation at a time.  Deeply I know that the tough stuff in life can be a doorway to our most powerful growth and that’s what I help unlock.

On the side, I'm Karen Clarke Blueswoman – musician, songwriter and entertainer.  A whole lotta trouble (of the very best kind) right there.
