A very Happy New Year to all of our members and supporters! The Committee is hard at work both resting and restoring from a busy 2016 and getting our planning gear going for 2017. Let’s start the year making sure we take time to support our local businesses and services and that we put a personal plan in place for self-care and development. Wishing you tremendous happiness, simplicity and success in the New Year!

Why I joined:
Not being a born and bred Naki girl, I thought The Network would help me meet new people, learn about others businesses, gain some support, grow my business and also make some new friends. This has ticked all of those boxes and it has allowed my personal life and business to thrive locally.
Best piece of Business Advice:
Try not to say “yes” all of the time!! And treat others as you hope to be treated yourself
How do you stay balanced between work & home life/ how do you stay motivated
It helps to enjoy what you do for a job. My job unfortunately mostly functions in the hours other people are not – so weekends, evenings, holidays etc. I have a very supportive husband and I love what I do. I also understand that there is a need for family time also – so I tend to book out time for family and myself as well. I’m lucky that every job is different so that keeps me motivated and inspired.
