The Network Inc. is Taranaki’s hive for professional women. Our core purpose is to support, connect, and empower professional women in the region through networking, business leverage, and professional development opportunities.
The website is an information portal created to facilitate the connection of members and non-members through the directory.
Originally established in 2013 by dynamic young professional Tahlia Wells, as ‘New Plymouth Professional & Business Women’s Network’, our group experienced rapid growth via social media. Its popularity and apparent value led to the formation of The Network Inc. as a not-for-profit organization.
The Network Inc. recognizes and celebrates the talents of its many members who frequently and actively engage each others services. The success of The Network Inc. lies in the diversity of its membership and the willingness of its members to support and learn from each other. In addition we hold regular lunches, meetings and encourage members to host events to showcase their businesses. Professional development events give the opportunities to hear dynamic and inspirational speakers. We also contribute to charitable causes close to members’ hearts and minds.
We are responsive to current issues and are becoming an increasingly influential ‘swarm’. The Network Inc. champions our members within the local business community.
